Meeting Minutes

January 30, 2008

The meeting was called to order and introductions were made.

Orion Project – This project is scheduled to end by the end of January 2008. Trying to postpone that date.

Community Awareness Program – Chad Jones is in jail. Will have more information at the next meeting.

DaVinci Collaborative – Becky Gaytko gave a summary on the program.

9^th Annual Cops Nite Out – Was a success. Thanks to all those who donated and participated.

River Commons – Barry Hall reported that this project has been a success. The crime rate is down. Forty seven people have moved in and forty one have jobs.

GONDBA.ORG – Still working on web site.

DATV Telethon Information – Having a telethon on March 6, 2008, noon until midnight. Due to a new State Law, they need more funding. Looking for sponsors. See Dan Suffoletto or e-mail him at dan@datv.org.

Guest Speaker - Rashad Young, Dayton City Manger. He spoke on the areas outlined in the 2010 Plan that include Public Safety, Infrastructure and Economic Development.

We were also introduced to Richard Biehl, New City of Dayton Police Chief

Lunch was provided by Childrens Medical Center and Heidelberg Distributing Co.

Meeting was adjourned.
